Game Summary
| Developer | Pragmatic Play |
|---|---|
| Grid | 6 columns × 5 rows |
| RTP | Up to 96.52% |
| Volatility | High |
| Multipliers | x2 to x2,500 |
| Top prize | 25,000x the bet |

Concept 1: Pay Anywhere
Most classic games pay along fixed lines. This one doesn't have any. If 8 or more of the same symbol appear anywhere on the grid, that counts as a win. The crown pays the most (10x to 50x the bet), followed by the hourglass, ring and chalice. The five gems pay the least, from 0.25x to 10x.
Concept 2: Tumbles
After a win, the winning symbols disappear and new ones fall into their places. If the new symbols form another win, the process repeats. That's why a single spin can pay several times in a row.
Concept 3: Multipliers Are Added, Not Multiplied
Zeus can drop multiplier symbols worth anything from x2 to x2,500. At the end of a spin, every multiplier on the grid is added together, and that total is applied to the spin's wins. So a x20 and a x5 make x25, not x100. If the spin has no win, the multipliers do nothing.
Concept 4: Free Spins and the Wheel
Four or more scatter symbols award 15 free spins, and 3 scatters during the round add 5 more. Before the round starts, a wheel picks one of four modes. In every mode, multipliers build up a total multiplier that lasts for the whole round:
- Free Spins 1: a multiplier joins the total only if it lands on a winning spin.
- Free Spins 2: every multiplier joins the total, even on spins with no win.
- Super Free Spins 1 and 2: the same rules as above, but no multiplier is worth less than x10.
The game also has optional modes that change the cost per spin. These include Ante Bets, which make free spins more likely, Super Spins, which guarantee a multiplier on every spin, and direct entry into a chosen free spins mode. All of them can be explored in the demo.

Concept 5: What RTP Means
RTP, or "return to player", is the share of all money wagered that a game pays back over a very large number of spins. For this game, the best version is 96.52%. It's a long-term average, not a promise for any one session. The version in use is shown in the game's information screen.
Concept 6: What High Volatility Means
Volatility describes how wins are spread out. With high volatility, most spins pay small amounts or nothing, and big wins are rare. Here's how rare they are in this game, based on published figures:
| Event | Happens on average once every |
|---|---|
| Any win | ~3.6 spins (27.93% hit rate) |
| Free spins round | 443 spins |
| 1,000x or more | 36,459 spins |
| 10,000x or more | about 19.8 lakh spins |
| 25,000x (top prize) | about 1.35 crore spins |
How the 2500 Compares to Earlier Versions
The original Gates of Olympus (2021) had multipliers up to x500 and a top prize of 5,000x. Gates of Olympus 1000 raised those to x1,000 and 15,000x. The 2500 raises them again, to x2,500 and 25,000x. It's also the first in the series with four free spins modes.
Try It in the Demo
